Founded by Cameroonian physician Dr Taminang Walter and backed by a team of US-based health professionals, HealthLink Africa is poised to revolutionize accessibility to and quality of healthcare, through innovative mobile solutions. Our preliminary projects include: • a mobile app that empowers healthcare professionals to efficiently monitor the clinical progress of individual HIV patients. This comprehensive platform will encompass crucial features such as patient testing, including CD4, Viral Load, and biochemical tests, while also ensuring seamless tracking of patient retention in care. Additionally, our app will play a pivotal role in monitoring the availability and usage of anti-retroviral drugs and essential HIV commodities in local health facilities, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and management. • a telemedicine application to enable timely consultations, diagnoses, and treatment recommendation. This app hopes to democratize access to both curative and preventive healthcare by bridging the geographical gap between patients and healthcare providers, fostering a healthier and more accessible healthcare ecosystem.
